Prenatal Multivitamin

Our GAL Prenatal product was developed in light of the latest research while keeping naturalness and lifelikeness in mind. This means that the product contains all vitamins, minerals and trace elements in the same ideal form, quantity and ratio as one would consume in the course of constant, diverse and nutritious food intake. All of these agents are forms that can be found in nature; most of them are extracted from organically grown (bio) herbs and spices, so they also contain co-factors, the presence of which in these plants - besides the vitamins/minerals they contain - is hardly a coincidence. As for the quantities, all along we considered it important to make sure that the daily dosage does contain the effective dose, but does not exceed realistic quantities (i.e. quantities that are impossible to ingest with nutrition). So, where when you see that a product contains hundreds or thousands times the NRV (Nutritional Reference Value, the officially recommended daily dose) of something, do not be alarmed (for example, a handful of shells contains approximately 2000% of the officially recommended quantity of B12, and it would still be very healthy to ingest that much shells or B12 every day). The reason for this is that the officially recommended value should, in fact, be called “the minimum quantity necessary to stay alive” instead...
NRV seldom represents the actually ideal quantity.

It may sound surprising, but, equally important, is what it does NOT contain...
This was, in fact, one of our motives to create a new multivitamin, as we discovered that there wasn’t a single one without at least one ingredient - in the country or in the EU - which the author of this article would not put in his mouth, even if he would be paid for it... (this mainly does not apply to the excipients, but to the wrong forms or exaggerated quantities of the agents).

Nothing that does not belong there should disturb the natural course of the new life! In our product, you will not find anything like that.

Although all used agent forms have excellent absorption capability, we enhanced it with BioPerine®. We also paid attention not to mix water-soluble and fat-soluble ingredients, so that they could exist separately in the matrix ensuring ideal utilization and stability for them.

Water-soluble (hydrophilic) ingredients are filled in vegan capsules resistant to stomach acid, so that they all safely pass the stomach and reach the ideal spots for absorption: the small intestine and the colon.

In turn, fat-soluble (lipophilic) ingredients present are solved in MCT oil that does not require bile acid, and is directly and quickly absorbed from the intestines, stabilized with natural tocopherols/tocotrienols and Greek sage extract, in form of oily drops.

For the sake of healthy development of the fetus, the product vitamin B9 in the form of active methyl-folate that can be found in our body, too, and none of it in the form of the usual folic acid, which is not a natural substance, capable of accumulating, and its level shows a correlation with a number of diseases. It is a shame, that it is present in almost all preparations, even in vitamins for pregnant women (even if there is methyl-folate along with it, the presence of folic acid is not good).

In addition to K2 (MK-7), it also contains a high dose of vitamin K1, as only vitamin K1 is capable of getting through the placenta, where it is transformed into the appropriate K2 (MK-4). The same applies to breast milk, the natural K2 content of which is also supplied by the body from K1, and is not capable of the same from the K2 formula (MK-7) permitted in the EU. The MK-7 formula of K2 is nonetheless useful for the mother, only the foetus does not benefit from it, as the fetus and the infant requires K1 and K2 MK-4. K2 MK-4 is produced by the organism from K1, so we added that much K1 into the product.

High D3, K1, K2 and C vitamin contents of the product contribute to the proper development of the bone structure. It also contains an extra-large quantity of bamboo silicon.
